By chance, we find a banner in the streets of Barcelona. We can see the material is waterproof, resistant and flexible. Here comes the idea… why don´t we recycle it and turn it into a bag? It is the beginning of demano.

Demano signs an agreement with City Hall, the Cultural Institute of Barcelona (ICUB), and other cultural organizations; Antonio Tapies Foundation, Museum of Contemporary Arts of Barcelona (MACBA), and the Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) to have exclusiveness for banner use.

The project is formally established. We dedicate all our time and strength to the process. This is our great bet on recycling.

Demano is known as the pioneer brand in the use of recycled banners.
Our market strengthens in Spain.

Granted by: Catalunya City Hall, Environmental Department, Waste Assembly, Calán Recycling Centre, European Design Institute, ADI, Barcelona Design Centre and Environmental Foundation 2004.

Demano reaches the international market. We start selling in some Asian and European countries.

We enlarge our design line. We work together with other designers for the development of new products.

Barcelona Activa- Barcelona City Hall grants us the Enterprising Corporation Award 2006. We also extend our research for new environmentally respectful material to work on our new collections.

After seven years we renew our image. Unique objects, made out of environmentally respectful material, which tell a particular story about Barcelona.
